Boxed by Becky

About the Company
boxed by becky: graze brings you high-quality, visually-styled grazing boxes that can be easily adapted for people with food intolerances. As our grazing services have grown, so too have the requests for us to provide other bespoke gifting services.
boxed by becky: gift was introduced as a gifting option that goes beyond flowers and typical mass-produced gift hampers. We wanted to provide a service where customers can create a bespoke gift using goods from Australian small businesses. We showcase these small businesses by offering high-quality, luxe, unique products that you won’t typically find in a high-street store. Our boxes are made to truly spoil your recipient and make them feel valued. We handpick the products and individually pack each gift box with love, so we hope they reflect the love and joy we’ve put into making them.
Our mission is to promote Australian businesses and do our best to ensure our customers feel the love, joy and kindness we hope to put out into the world every day.

About the Project
Once we decided on an apt colour palette, we started working on three core logo concepts.
-
- Concept is luxury in a box. The letters are arranged in the icon as if they were fit into the box the way you would pack a gift/grazing/craft box. The idea is to convey the brands luxurious appeal and service.
-
- Concept is a B becoming a bow. Your luxury item will be wrapped with a bow, communicating to the customers that to the brand, whatever is in the box is a special item.
-
- Concept 3 was a more minimalistic approach to the logo. The Geometric ribbon forms a ‘b’ that gives the logo a clean and elegant look. We opted for lowercase font throughout because it gives off a more approachable vibe. The option of using the square icon shape – “the box” or softening the look with the circle was kept open.

The Result
The client decided to go with concept 3 after a slight tweak to the logo. The 'b' was made more prominent to avoid any resemblance with the number '6'.
